If I Tell You: Carol Kane Leads an Emotional New Drama Arriving in North American Theaters

Opening in select theaters across North America Thursday, August 27, 2026, If I Tell You brings an emotionally charged new drama to the big screen, led by Emmy Award-winning actress Carol Kane alongside rising talent Etienne Kellici and an impressive ensemble cast.

Based on Lisa O’Donnell’s book Closed Doors, the film is directed by Tessa Blake and written by Jennifer Manocherian and Tessa Blake. The story explores complex family relationships, secrets and the emotional consequences of what happens when long-held truths finally come to light.

Kane, celebrated for memorable performances in The Princess Bride and Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt, headlines a cast that includes Etienne Kellici, Allison Miller, Bill Heck, Christopher Jackson and Carmela Zumbado, alongside Kennedi Butler, McKenzie Hays, Tiegen Fryberger and Zelalem Oestrich.
